Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bonhams held the auction Art Belge & Contemporain / Belgische & Hedendaagse Kunst, which included the work Composition abstraite by Gilbert Decock. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 832.00 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gilbert Decock - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition Abstraite Dpxi-Xi, which sold at auction in October 2018 for EUR 2,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Art Belge & Contemporain / Belgische & Hedendaagse Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition abstraite von Gilbert Decock zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 832,00 und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gilbert Decock mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition Abstraite Dpxi-Xi beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für EUR 2.750,00 versteigert wurde.
