Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A Peasantwoman Doing Needlework by Gijsbertus Jan Sijthoff. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 3,290.00 (€ 1,581.33). Other works by Gijsbertus Jan Sijthoff have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 2,987.50 in July 2003 for the work Tending to the goat.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Peasantwoman Doing Needlework von Gijsbertus Jan Sijthoff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 3.290,00 (€ 1.581,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Gijsbertus Jan Sijthoff haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.987,50 im Juli 2003 für die Arbeit Tending to the goat beobachtet.
