Admittedly, works by Gigi Scaria have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Someone Left a Horse on the Shore in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 487,500.00 (€ 42,616.42).

Die Arbeit Someone Left A Horse On The Shore von Gigi Scaria wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.740,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gigi Scaria auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Someone Left a Horse on the Shore im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 487.500,00 (€ 42.616,42).
