Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Geronte innamorato by Gianni Bertini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gianni Bertini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grip - 1965 in March 2019 with an auction result of EUR 57,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geronte innamorato von Gianni Bertini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gianni Bertini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grip - 1965 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 57.200,00.
