Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gianfranco Ferroni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2001. In the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction, the work Una notte sul lago sold for ITL 11,025,000.00 (€ 10,431.70) - well above the upper estimate of ITL 4,000,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gianfranco Ferroni; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ambiente familiare sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of EUR 17,640.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gianfranco Ferroni erzielte im Mai 2001 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA wurde die Arbeit Una notte sul lago für ITL 11.025.000,00 (€ 10.431,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von ITL 4.000.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gianfranco Ferroni; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ambiente familiare im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 17.640,00.
