Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 33,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giacomo Francia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Holy Family With Saint Jerome, which sold at auction in July 2009 for GBP 79,250.00 (€ 89,924.99).
