In November last year Il Ponte held the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea, which included the work Linea di velocità + luce by Giacomo Balla. The result of EUR 150,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Linea di velocità + luce von Giacomo Balla zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 150.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
