Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings Sale, which included the work The Supper At Emmaus by Giacinto Gimignani. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,584.89), 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by Giacinto Gimignani have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 48,000.00 (€ 38,022.81) in April 2006 for the work Venus Awakened By Cupid.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Supper At Emmaus von Giacinto Gimignani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.584,89) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Giacinto Gimignani haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 38.022,81) im April 2006 für die Arbeit Venus Awakened By Cupid beobachtet.
