Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Gholamhossein Nami was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,884.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gholamhossein Nami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Galaxy in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 100,847.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gholamhossein Nami wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.884,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gholamhossein Nami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Galaxy im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 100.847,89).
