In April 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Galaxy by Gholamhossein Nami. The »bidding war« ended at USD 157,000.00 (€ 100,847.89), 74% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Galaxy the most expensive artwork by Gholamhossein Nami that we have observed at auctions so far.
