Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Il figurinaio by Gerolamo Induno for EUR 18,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti E Sculture Del XIX E XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gerolamo Induno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trasteverina uccisa da una bomba in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 151,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Il figurinaio von Gerolamo Induno für EUR 18.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti E Sculture Del XIX E XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerolamo Induno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trasteverina uccisa da una bomba im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 151.400,00.
