Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Sans titre (Portrait d'homme) by Germaine Richier. The price achieved of EUR 2,624.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Germaine Richier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Tauromachie in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 3,086,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre (Portrait d'homme) von Germaine Richier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.624,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Germaine Richier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Tauromachie im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.086.400,00.
