Upper estimate price exceeded by 31 %.
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Sans titre (Etude pour la mante) by Germaine Richier. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,936.00 31% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Germaine Richier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Tauromachie in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 3,086,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre (Etude pour la mante) von Germaine Richier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.936,00 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Germaine Richier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Tauromachie im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.086.400,00.
