In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints auction, the work Fishing in a Dutch estuary sold for GBP 1,140.00 (€ 1,677.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerardus Hendriks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Summer Landscape With A Shepherdess On A Country Road, which sold at auction in September 2007 for EUR 3,750.00.
