Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Activities at the Oude Hoofdpoort, Rotterdam by Gerardus Hendriks was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,320.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerardus Hendriks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Summer Landscape With A Shepherdess On A Country Road, which sold at auction in September 2007 for EUR 3,750.00.

Die Arbeit Activities at the Oude Hoofdpoort, Rotterdam von Gerardus Hendriks kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.320,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gerardus Hendriks mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Summer Landscape With A Shepherdess On A Country Road beobachtet, die im September 2007 für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert wurde.
