In the The Duarte Pinto Coelho Collection From the distinguished decorator's houses in Madrid and Trujillo, Spain auction, the work Composición sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,455.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gerardo Rueda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composición sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of EUR 11,050.00.
