Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boxes by Gerardo Rueda was sold in the ARTE ESPANOL auction at Christies in Madrid in October 2005. The price achieved of EUR 5,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerardo Rueda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composición, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 11,050.00.

Die Arbeit Boxes von Gerardo Rueda wurde im Oktober 2005 in der Auktion ARTE ESPANOL bei Christies in Madrid versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gerardo Rueda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composición beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 11.050,00 versteigert wurde.
