The work The Holy Family by Gerard Wigmana was sold in the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,385.14) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerard Wigmana have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The morning toilet in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 9,400.00 (€ 15,199.68).
