This artwork by Gérard Rancinan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December 2016. In the Photography auction, the work Batman Family Girls - 2011 sold for EUR 19,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gérard Rancinan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Batman Family (girls) in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 121,169.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gérard Rancinan erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photography wurde die Arbeit Batman Family Girls - 2011 für EUR 19.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Rancinan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Batman Family (girls) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 121.169,22).
