Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work “Fionia” by Gerhard Mercator. The price achieved of DKK 2,700.00 (€ 362.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerhard Mercator have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Taprobana” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Fionia” von Gerhard Mercator zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 2.700,00 (€ 362,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerhard Mercator auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Taprobana” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
