In January 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Abstract composition by Gérard Grassère. The result of EUR 1,200.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Other works by Gérard Grassère have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2004 the work Geluiden uit de Efteling was auctioned for EUR 2,151.00.

Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract composition von Gérard Grassère zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.200,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gérard Grassère konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2004 die Arbeit Geluiden uit de Efteling für EUR 2.151,00 versteigert.
