The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gérard Fromanger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Peintre Et Le Modele : Vert Veronese - 1972 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 80,000.00.

Die Arbeit Portrait De Florence Villeprand, Tableau Grave Et Gai von Gérard Fromanger kam im Dezember 2011 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
