Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tete by Gérard Di Maccio was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 536.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gérard Di Maccio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Surrealiste in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 3,965.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tete von Gérard Di Maccio wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 536,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Di Maccio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Surrealiste im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.965,00.
