Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work L'Aigle by Gérard Di Maccio. The price achieved of EUR 574.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Gérard Di Maccio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Surrealiste in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 3,965.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Aigle von Gérard Di Maccio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 574,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Di Maccio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Surrealiste im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.965,00.
