Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 223.25 (€ 366.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerald Norden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Clementines With Leaves; Lemons; Apples In An Imari Bowl; And Red Currants In A Paper Bag, which sold at auction in August 2013 for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,465.22).
