Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work En Route by Georgy Grigorievich Nissky. The price achieved of GBP 602,500.00 (€ 757,508.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georgy Grigorievich Nissky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Over The Snowy Fields, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 1,762,500.00 (€ 2,202,159.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit En Route von Georgy Grigorievich Nissky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 602.500,00 (€ 757.508,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Georgy Grigorievich Nissky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Over The Snowy Fields beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für GBP 1.762.500,00 (€ 2.202.159,42) versteigert wurde.
