In May 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art, which included the work Man And Woman by Georgios Sikeliotis. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,829.41), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Georgios Sikeliotis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work Monastère du Mont Athos was auctioned for EUR 10,200.00.

Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man And Woman von Georgios Sikeliotis zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.829,41) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Georgios Sikeliotis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai diesen Jahres die Arbeit Monastère du Mont Athos für EUR 10.200,00 versteigert.
