In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Seated Nude by Georgios Kosmadopoulos. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,900.00 (€ 26,644.55), 74% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Georgios Kosmadopoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Ceramics Market, Mykonos in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,725.56).

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Seated Nude von Georgios Kosmadopoulos zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.900,00 (€ 26.644,55) und damit 74% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georgios Kosmadopoulos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Ceramics Market, Mykonos im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 107.725,56).
