This artwork by Georgios Kosmadopoulos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2008. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Greek Mykonos sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,342.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georgios Kosmadopoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Ceramics Market, Mykonos in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,725.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georgios Kosmadopoulos erzielte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Greek Mykonos für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.342,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georgios Kosmadopoulos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Ceramics Market, Mykonos im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 107.725,56).
