Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A courtyard at Montefiascone by Georgy Kreskentevich Lukomsky was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,766.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Georgy Kreskentevich Lukomsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of the Louvre in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,391.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A courtyard at Montefiascone von Georgy Kreskentevich Lukomsky wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.766,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georgy Kreskentevich Lukomsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of the Louvre im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.391,39).
