Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Iaroslav' by Georgy Antonovich Kosiakov was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,135.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Georgy Antonovich Kosiakov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2008 the work Set Design For A Production Of An Ideal Husband At The Alexander Theatre In St Petersburg was auctioned for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,045.38).

Die Arbeit Iaroslav' von Georgy Antonovich Kosiakov kam im Dezember 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.135,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
