The work Tending to the window box by Emile Georges Weiss was sold in the NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction at Christies in London in March 2002. The price achieved of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,299.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tending to the window box is the most expensive artwork by Emile Georges Weiss that we have observed at auctions so far.
