In the True Connoisseurship: The Collection of Ezra & Cecile Zilkha auction, the work The Station At Vichy changed hands for USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,800.13) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Stein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Opera, Paris; and Westminster Bridge, London in September 2007 with an auction result of GBP 19,700.00 (€ 28,248.35).
