Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sydney - 1984 by Georges Rousse was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in October 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Rousse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mezy, 2001 in October 2009 with an auction result of EUR 15,301.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sydney - 1984 von Georges Rousse wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Rousse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mezy, 2001 im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.301,00.
