Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chant Russe, Poster Design by Georges de Pogedaieff was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 3,941.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges de Pogedaieff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Theatre Set At Night in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 74,024.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chant Russe, Poster Design von Georges de Pogedaieff wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 3.941,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges de Pogedaieff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Theatre Set At Night im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 74.024,34).
