Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work A costume design for a cabaret character in a blue ballgown 48.6 x 35.2cm (19 1/8 x 13 7/8in). by Georges de Pogedaieff for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,216.65). This price was achieved in the auction The Russian Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges de Pogedaieff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Theatre Set At Night in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 74,024.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A costume design for a cabaret character in a blue ballgown 48.6 x 35.2cm (19 1/8 x 13 7/8in). von Georges de Pogedaieff für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.216,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Russian Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges de Pogedaieff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Theatre Set At Night im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 74.024,34).
