This artwork by Georges Noël achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2021. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre - 1960 sold for EUR 3,640.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Noël achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Effigie Palimpseste D'Or Sur Vert - 1962 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 65,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Noël erzielte im März 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1960 für EUR 3.640,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Noël erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Effigie Palimpseste D'Or Sur Vert - 1962 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.600,00.
