Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Green Spleen - 1986 by Georges Noël. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Noël have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Effigie Palimpseste D'Or Sur Vert - 1962 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 65,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Green Spleen - 1986 von Georges Noël zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Noël auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Effigie Palimpseste D'Or Sur Vert - 1962 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.600,00.
