Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le gruyère by Georges Hugnet was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 612.00 (€ 718.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Hugnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Prints Of Joan Miró in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le gruyère von Georges Hugnet kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 612,00 (€ 718,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Hugnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Prints Of Joan Miró im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
