Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Femme à la poule by Georges Hugnet for GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,995.59). This price was achieved in the auction The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Hugnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Prints Of Joan Miró in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Femme à la poule von Georges Hugnet für GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.995,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Hugnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Prints Of Joan Miró im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
