Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Plage Et Bateaux En Normandie - 1965 by Georges Dayez. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Georges Dayez have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2000 the work Girl Playing Piano was auctioned for USD 3,680.00 (€ 3,816.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plage Et Bateaux En Normandie - 1965 von Georges Dayez zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Georges Dayez konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2000 die Arbeit Girl Playing Piano für USD 3.680,00 (€ 3.816,24) versteigert.
