The work Taking Tea by Georges Croegaert was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,428.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Croegaert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les indiscrets in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 58,750.00 (€ 100,420.55).

Die Arbeit Taking Tea von Georges Croegaert kam im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.428,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Croegaert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les indiscrets im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.750,00 (€ 100.420,55).
