Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Georges Bouisset could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Portrait of a man changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.29) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Georges Bouisset have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work From a lively café in May this year with an auction result of DKK 14,000.00 (€ 1,879.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Bouisset konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of a man für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,29) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Bouisset auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit From a lively café im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 14.000,00 (€ 1.879,11).
