Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georges de Pogedaieff could be acquired at Il Ponte in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Composizione con frutta changed hands for EUR 2,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges de Pogedaieff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Theatre Set At Night in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 74,024.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges de Pogedaieff konnte im Juni 2020 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Composizione con frutta für EUR 2.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges de Pogedaieff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Theatre Set At Night im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 74.024,34).
