This artwork by George Sand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. In the Old Master & XIXth Century Art auction, the work Paysage De Montagne sold for EUR 5,850.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Sand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Oblong Comprenant Cinquante Neuf Dessins Dont Dix Paysages À La Dentrite, Une Photographie Et Une Lithographie. Reliure En Toile Grise, Pièce De Titre De Papier Au Centre Du Premier Plat. in May last year with an auction result of EUR 61,740.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von George Sand erzielte im März 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art wurde die Arbeit Paysage De Montagne für EUR 5.850,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Sand erzielen.
