Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & XIXth Century Art, which included the work Navire Sur Un Littoral by George Sand. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,860.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Sand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Oblong Comprenant Cinquante Neuf Dessins Dont Dix Paysages À La Dentrite, Une Photographie Et Une Lithographie. Reliure En Toile Grise, Pièce De Titre De Papier Au Centre Du Premier Plat. in May last year with an auction result of EUR 61,740.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Navire Sur Un Littoral von George Sand zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.860,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Sand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Oblong Comprenant Cinquante Neuf Dessins Dont Dix Paysages À La Dentrite, Une Photographie Et Une Lithographie.
