Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Sacred Mountains Of Bali, 1953 by George Rodger was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2013. The price achieved of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,108.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by George Rodger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Champion of a Korongo Nuba Wrestling Match is Carried Shoulder High, Kordofan, Southern Sudan in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,074.14).

Die Arbeit The Sacred Mountains Of Bali, 1953 von George Rodger kam im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.108,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
