Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by George Owen Wynne Apperley could be acquired at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Scottish Sale auction, the work A still canal, Dordrecht, January 1908 changed hands for GBP 127.50 (€ 151.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Owen Wynne Apperley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Artist'S Wife On A Terrace Above The Alhambra, Spain in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,363.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von George Owen Wynne Apperley konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Scottish Sale wechselte die Arbeit A still canal, Dordrecht, January 1908 für GBP 127,50 (€ 151,05) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Owen Wynne Apperley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Artist'S Wife On A Terrace Above The Alhambra, Spain im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.363,80).
