In the At Home - British & Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction, the work A Country Road changed hands for GBP 199.75 (€ 292.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 250.00 – 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Nelson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unique dining table in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,458.06).
