The work Le Petit Blessé by George Minne was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2015. It achieved a price of EUR 7,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Minne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Agenouillé de la fontaine: de geknielde aan de bron in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 217,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Petit Blessé von George Minne wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Minne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Agenouillé de la fontaine: de geknielde aan de bron im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 217.000,00.
